My guys are growing up. They have a little trouble at 3-way/4-way stop signs. They don’t know who to let go next. Usually people are kind and wave them on. (They have developmental delays.) But this gives them so much independence. I only allow them to go on side streets to local places like the library and store and they have to tell me everywhere they go. (Thank God for cell phones and technology! And also that we live in a rural area/town. Lots of great back roads to ride on.) I’m bracing myself for the day they test their boundaries. I know it’s coming. But so far so good. They know if they defy me they lose their privileges but as with all boys, I know it might just be worth it sometime. They’re just so darned cute, aren’t they? And it seems like just yesterday I took a picture of them with their bikes. I was told when they were babes they wouldn’t walk or ride bikes. Never, ever underestimate the determination of a mother and her two boys! (Thanks again to @factualfiction for coming through for me on the collage!) (Source: karlaakins)
